yes this was from during a while ago & is really historic & nostalgic to me from these past years great

Its now the date of May 28th 2024 and this as it was intended to always be a real true classic film and the theme also. A great brilliant fantastic very funny well done put together family film with a great brilliant British Film Tv Star Cast. Whoever did pick the Adult and Child tv Stars done a fantastic great brilliant Choice. We know the Adults but how many remember the Fabulous Brilliant Great Tv Family Classic The Phoenix and The Magic Carpet with the very young Beautiful Max Harris. All the Actors of Adults and Children are fantastic and all became the Characters they was playing. Now i do believe there is 2 young Boys who are Boys Children with Childhood and not Young Gentlemen as they was addressed by the Security Guard who did manage to get the 2 Boys inside the Back of the Restaurant. The words from his mouth was as the Script Writers think its how to address Boys as Gentlemen and not as there real true identity of Boys Children as in the film. What would you expect when the film is from Walt Disney Productions in U S A. And that saying i found these 2 young Gentlemen when it was 2 young Boys Children in Childhood. Still agin another Adult who deliberately just refused to register the real true identity of Boys from Gentlemen. No Boys in any lifetime in all nations of all generations dont become Gentlemen till there young age of 18 in any part of the world ever. These Gentlemen then is i guess not these Boys Children. And many Adults believe in that nonsense Trash Rubbish, Garbage that only takes away Childhood period. Its Inappropriate and dangerous towards all Childrens Childhoods. And its always ignored. Like Children dont matter. Why do you think that. Far to many Children walk into dangerous territory. Again Children mean nothing. Children are very special and are very important because they are our Future. Damage and Destroy them then there Future and ours also is damaged destroyed. Oh and watch out for Doctor Who John Pertwee.

This Era proves that graphics are not everything, we are in a time where cgi is nearly impossible to tell from real life but the story telling is crap, in the 90s the chi was meh but the stories and story telling was great

I share the same birthday as Kevin Sorbo, and for that, I couldn't have felt more honored.

Missed him

This intro brings a tear to my eye. I'm Greek. Ever since I can remember, my grandmother would sit me on her lap as a 4-year old toddler and tell me the stories of Herakles. The stories of a man who was blessed with immense, divine strength due to his divine heritage, but still used his brains more than his brawn. How he thought of burning the stumps of the severed Hydra heads so they don't grow back. How he realised he could not damage the Nemean Lion due to its impenetrable hide, so he resorted to using his bare hands to strangle it. He then proceeded to skin the Nemean Lion and use its impenetrable hide as his armour. He dipped his arrows in the Hydra's corpse, infusing them with venom, making them super deadly, even capable of killing other divine beasts. How he beat Antaeus, a Giant, son of the god Poseidon and the Titan Gaia, by out-smarting him. He realised that while the Giant stood on solid ground, he was empowered by his own mother, Gaia. So what does our boy Herakles do? He literally lifts him over his head and throws him in a river. Away from the ocean and the seas (Poseidon's domain), away from the Earth itself (Gaia's domain), he got the giant de-powered enough where he could wrestle him & beat him. If that's not proof of insane battle IQ, then I don't know what is. Herakles is the O.G superhero. The one with the power to move mountains, who still uses his ingenuity and his brains when the situation calls for it. The man who chose the path of good, of righteousness, when the whole world (literally) was against him. Hell, his story BEGINS with him being possessed by the Furies, murdering his own wife & kids, and seeking redemption from the Oracle of Delphi. He starts off on the lowest point a man can start at, as the murderer of his own family. Yet, through his Labours, and his close friendship with his friend Iolaus, he persevered. He even went on to help Jason and the rest of the Argonauts on the suicide mission to recover the Golden Fleece. He persevered so well that upon his death, Zeus offered him a spot on Olympus. And this show captured ALL of that. With utmost respect to the O.G Greek myths & legends, they made this a show for children. A show where the teachings of the Ancient Greek myth were transferred to the next generation, 3,000 years later. It makes me so happy that so many children around the world learned & enjoyed the stories of Herakles, just like I enjoyed them when my grandmother was telling them to me as a child. Thank you Kevin Sorbo and thank you New Zealand for producing such an amazing series.

Ah Hercules, my childhood form of escapism. I remember cosplaying as Hercules for years for EVERY casual day back in primary school without so much as a drop of shame, I loved this!

Had to get the whole boxset on DVD it was hard to get but managed it great show..CLASSIC

This show was by far my favorite in my childhood. It was one of a kind and no other show ever captured its magic again. To this day. Xena came close but Hercules was better.

Simple Times, better times

the world is missing shows like Hercules and Xena these days. if anyone is looking for half decent fantasy shows to scratch that classic "90s fantasy" itch i recommend Legend of the Seeker, and maybe also The Outpost! alas both of them were cancelled far too soon, but hey, we can always enjoy what we got!
